Effect of digestate from anaerobic digestion on Sorghum bicolor L. production and circular economy

The aim of the research was determination efficiency application 50 t ha-1 digestate from process anaerobic digestion on productivity sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.) moderately degraded (calcic gleysol) and fertile (chernozem) agricultural land, in southern Banat, Republic Serbia. In field experiment during three years amendment led to an increase number leaves by 28.56% plant height 5.34%, which yield 3.40%. maximum 2018 (41.74 DM ha-1) chernozem. lower calcic gleysol compared chernozem 5.43% positive, medium very significant dependence precipitation (0.61) positive correlation with (0.53) (0.59). Biogas reach 157.05 Nm3 t-1 (9582 digestate. Digestate had a statistically effect all tested characteristics as well biogas experimental years. use by-product producing based silage sorghum, allows substitution mineral fertilizers remediation damaged soil, contributes sustainability bio-economic environmental aspects.
